FOAMIE REPAIRS
Over the past five and a half years I have been working hard making our foamies even more durable and able to hold up without repair.
Among the design and finish improvements made here are a few:
Chipping Paint - The application of Rubber Dip on all my foam pieces has completely solved the chipping paint problem shown below that plagued me for a long time. As for chipping paint on the hulls, some of this will eventually happen with enough use. You can easily touch up such places with appropriate colored nail polish. I use Urethane Car Paint which is the strongest paint on the planet and will take a high impact before chipping will occur.
Paddle Shaft - Paddle shaft repair where bamboo chop stick would break. I have replaced this with a solid fiberglass rod that is so durable it can't even break by hand, and the spine has also been replaced with fiberglass as well. Also, the upgrade to 6 pound mini cell foam for the paddle has really increased the durability.
Just e-mail me if your foamie has any problem and I'll do my best to get your foamie back on the water for a reasonable cost if you are in need of a repair. If for any reason your foamie has failed prematurely or hasn't lived up to your expectation, please let me know and I'll do my best to make it right.
